David Smith, Complete Cricket Director commented;
‘Issy has been a part of Complete Cricket from a young age, through attending our after school cricket club at Bentley Heath School, club cricket at Knowle & Dorridge Cricket Club and the Complete Cricket Girls Academy! It’s fantastic to have watched her progression through county junior cricket, to senior cricket and to see her now flourishing as a professional cricketer!’
As well as being a professional cricketer with the Central Sparks and Birmingham Phoenix, Issy has begun coaching with Complete Cricket on their girls academy programme and at Knowle & Dorridge Girls Club.
Jamie Spires, Complete Cricket Director also commented;
‘It is just brilliant to see Issy progressing into different franchise cricket; it is such an exciting period of her cricket career and we are so pleased to have played a small part in her success. She is a fantastic role model for the younger girls we have coming through on our girls academy, as she has shown just how much you can achieve! We are thrilled to have her back coaching with us too as her passion and enthusiasm for playing the game is clear to see in her coaching!’.
