Complete Cricket College Open Evening

Looking for post-16 options? What happens if the traditional college and sixth form isn’t for you?

The Complete Cricket College offers an alternative; a pathway to suit you.

The two year, fully-funded programme enables 16 – 18 year olds to continue their education whilst developing their cricket skills. A qualification equivalent to 3 A Levels is undertaken and first-class cricket coaching received.

We know this can be a tricky time for students; to support you with your decision making we’ve got open evenings for our September 2020 intake on the horizon!

  • Wednesday 13th November 2019 – Edgbaston Cricket Ground – 7-8pm
  • Wednesday 18th March 2020 – Edgbaston Cricket Ground – 7-8pm

What coaching is given?

  • 460 hours of high-level cricket coaching delivered by top coaches
  • Students have the opportunity to showcase their skills to professional cricket clubs
  • Students can put their skills to the test in matches against other teams during the summer months

What qualifications are studied?

  • Study full-time with tutors from Aspire Training Solutions
  • OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical in Sport and Physical Activity
  • 1st4Sport Level 2 Award in Multi-Skills Development in Sport
  • ECB Foundation Level Coaching Qualification

With 3 industry recognised qualifications achieved relevant to their chosen field, students are better equipped for their future.

What about work experience?

Having recognised work experience on a CV is invaluable in today’s competitive employment climate. That’s why students at the Complete Cricket College get to undertake a minimum of 30 hours work experience a week.

Retaining knowledge and skills is useful, but being able to practically apply them is key. The work experience element is not only fundamental to their progression on the programme, it is also fundamental to their progression in the future.
